  • Dr. Philip Ip

    Chiropractor and Acupuncturist

    Dr. Philip Ip graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2013) with a Doctorate of Chiropractic and McMaster University (2008) with a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Sciences. He has experience working in a multidisciplinary setting, providing interprofessional care amongst family physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, massage therapists and other healthcare professionals. He has treated a variety of clients over the years with conditions such as sport injuries, disc injuries, postural conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, etc.

    Philip uses a variety of skills and techniques to deliver effective and efficient treatment plans, including but not limited to: diversified chiropractic adjustments, manual therapy techniques, active rehabilitation, clinical acupuncture, mobility work, etc. He educates each client and works with them to achieve their overall health and wellness goals, allowing them to be at their very best.

    During his spare time, Philip continues to be an advocate of health. He enjoys going to the gym, rock climbing, cycling and sleep because as we know, sleep is one of the most important necessities for our health and often gets taken for granted!

  • Rostam Torki

    Resident Physiotherapist

    Rostam Torki started his physiotherapy journey with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology & Health Science at York University. He then graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Throughout his studies, Rostam was involved in many extra-curriculars, including tutoring and workshops.

    Rostam first and foremost believes in building strong relationships and providing high quality education based on the best available research. Rostam believes in holistic health, as physical, emotional, and social health all work in tandem. He also has an interest in orthopedics, pain science and chronic pain, concussion, and acupuncture.

    Rostam’s passion for physiotherapy came through his diverse athletic background. He has and continues to participate in running, soccer, volleyball, weight-lifting, and rock climbing.

    Rostam will work with you to provide the best care plan designed for your lifestyle. Rostam’s practice will include education, hands-on treatment, and exercise programming that suit your needs and address your goals.

  • Dr. Harriet Lee

    Chiropractor

    Dr. Harriet Lee graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, and from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Kinesiology.

    Dr. Lee has worked in various multi-disciplinary clinics and values collaborative, patient centered care. She enjoys working with individuals dealing with any and all issues. At the end of the day, her goal is to make a difference regardless of how big or small it may be. Whether it’s helping someone regain their strength to return to an activity that they enjoy, or for a parent/grandparent who wants to keep up with their loved ones.

    She is all about reaching those aspirations together while sharing some laughs along the way!

  • Likai Yao

    Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Registered Acupuncturist

    Likai,Yao, a registered Acupuncturist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, graduated from Toronto School of Traditional Chinses Medicine Institution (TSTCMI) She has always been inspired by traditional Chinese Medicine since she grows up in a family with TCM background. She is hardworking and enjoys helping people.

    Likai has excellent knowledge in Chinese traditional medicines. She is able to identify the sign and symptoms and provides the suitable treatment. Likai has excellent skills in acupuncture and Chinese medical therapy such as acupressure, cupping, moxibustion, Guasha, and Chinese tuina. Based on feedback from patients, all her treatments show remarkable results.

     

    She has been working with patients experiencing pain syndrome like arthritis, tendonitis, sprain, strain, skin conditions – emotional disorder like anxiety, depression, irritability, stress – gynecopathy like fertility, PMS, irregular menstruation, headache, nausea, vomiting, allergies/ osteoarthritis/ chronic pain, often in the neck, back, knees, and head/ hypertension/ insomnia/ menstrual cramps and PMS/ morning sickness/ strokes.

  • Jessica He

    Registered Massage Therapist

    From over the years of working in various clinical settings, she has had the opportunity to gain an abundance amount of experience and knowledge to see and treat numerous conditions and efficiently address her client’s treatment goals and health needs. Her main style of therapy includes: Swedish technique, deep tissue massage, relaxation, trigger point therapy and fascial release techniques.

    These styles focus on reducing pain by blocking the pain gates. By doing so, she can reduce discomforts such as tension headaches, frozen shoulder, chronic postural stiffness and other various MSK conditions. The techniques used will also relax tight musculature thus relieving physical and even psychological stressors.

    Jessica hopes to use massage therapy to support and be part of each of her client’s health care plan by focusing on providing the highest quality care for all clients.

  • Adeline Wong

    Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

    After 20 years in the corporate world, Adeline finally called it quits. With her rich experiences and her gift to make sense of others, she has a unique ability to understand people of diverse backgrounds and cultures, and their stories. As a multinational, she has developed a strong advocate of multicultural awareness, diversity and social justice, and is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin as well.

    Adeline approaches each person with kindness and an open-mind. She is especially empathic to the fragile state of those who have traumatic experiences, and suicidal and self-harm ideation. Additionally, she has been working with people with depression, anxiety, and other mental issues, and people with self-esteem, relationship, anger, career issues and other life challenges.

    Adeline graduated from Yorkville University’s Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is a Registered Therapist (Qualifying), and a member of both the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP) and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a Certified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA).

    Adeline describes herself as a keen learner with a quirky personality. She loves dogs, and enjoys a good adventure.

  • Angela Chen

    Registered Dietician

    Angela is a registered dietitian, in good standing with The College of Dietitians of
    Ontario. In additional to her degree in Food Sciences
    from the University of Toronto, she completed one year of dietetic internship. Angela also
    has a diploma in Adult Education from OISE, University of Toronto.
    Her work experience includes approximately twenty five years in acute care
    hospitals, providing nutritional support for the critically ill and surgical patients.

    Angela maintained active membership with ASPEN American Society of Parenteral and
    Enteral Nutrition and was certified every five years from 1995 to 2015. For the
    for the past five years, She has worked in a rehab hospital and acted as consultant for
    rehab companies. At the rehab hospital, she provided nutritional counselling and
    support for patients after their acute illness, in order to prepare them for
    discharge to home. As a consultant, Angela’s role has been providing nutritional
    counselling and support during the recovery phase of clients, on a virtual
    platform.
